This installation represents a memorial of human diversity and identity. More than 500 people from 25 different nationalities, including the Bydgoszcz community where the exhibition was located, have donated the latex imprint of their fingers to collectively build this piece, in which both, the matrices and their impressions make up the whole. Each finger has its own story written in the memory of the skin, anonymous stories that coexist together. This piece remains open to incorporate new impressions throughout the artistic career.
Esta instalación representa un memorial de la diversidad e identidad humana. Más de 500 personas de 25 nacionalidades diferentes, incluida la comunidad de Bydgoszcz donde se emplazó la muestra, han donado la impronta de látex de sus dedos para construir esta pieza colectivamente, en la que tanto las matrices como sus impresiones conforman el conjunto. Cada dedo tiene su propia historia escrita en la memoria de la piel, relatos anónimos que conviven juntos. Esta pieza queda abierta para incorporar nuevas impresiones a lo largo de la carrera artística.
